Kallis Kyriacou is a Half Greek-Cypriot Comedian based in London. His comedy provides a colourful montage of social satire, witty personal stories and a liberal amount of silliness. Kallis is currently working on his first 1 hour show which will feature as a work-in-progress at Brighton and Camden Fringe 2019
Alongside his comedy Kallis has built a career in the editing department on highly-regarded TV Dramas such as The Hollow Crown, Black Earth Rising and Black Mirror.
Kallis grew up the youngest of five siblings in Southampton England. He gained his sense of humour from his maternal grandfather, who entertained in holiday camps in the 1930s and who’s father was a vaudeville act in the turn of the 20th century music halls.
In 2019, Kallis plans to develop and perform a work-in-progress version of his debut show "One Flew Over The Kyriacou's Nest" at Fringe festivals around the country, including Brighton. He can also be seen in Comedy Clubs around London including Angel Comedy.
"ONE FLEW OVER THE KYRIACOU'S NEST"
Welcome inside the mind of endearing oddity Kallis Kyriacou.
Half Greek-Cypriot, fully silly, Kallis’ debut hour-in-progress is an uplifting mix of surrealism, storytelling and satire.
A life-enhancing flight of fancy, where omelettes are miracles, dads are monosyllabic and disappointment has never been funner.
Parented by movies, perplexed by reality, Kallis’ unique take on life will have you remembering his name, even if you can’t spell it.
'Kallis is a lovable misanthrope with a weird, hilarious outlook on life. A lot of fun to watch.’ Maria Shehata
